What is hiyokogakudan?
hiyokogakudan is a free Twitter search service that can display the location of tweets on Google Maps.

Available at Also, although you don't want to encounter such a situation, it is possible to grasp SOS transmissions during disasters without missing them.

Let's hear voices around the world!
hiyokogakudan displays tweets made within 24 hours on the displayed map.
Elapsed time from the current time is displayed on a pin placed on the map and filled with a color that matches the elapsed time.
You can switch the display of the pin information window with the balloon icon on the upper left of the screen.
Search method and notes
Searching is easy!
If you drag the map to display the destination and click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right of the screen, a pin will appear at the tweeted location and the tweet will be displayed in the information window.
If you want to specify a keyword, enter the keyword in the input field at the top of the screen.
From the "Go Twitter" link in the information window, you can display the source tweet page of Twitter.
Notes
When the zoom level is 14 or less, the search button is disabled because the accuracy of retrieving from Twitter is reduced. Also, the higher the zoom level, the higher the accuracy of acquisition, so if you do not get the desired results, enlarge the map and search again.
The maximum number of tweets that can be displayed at one time is 100, and more tweets will not be displayed, so please zoom in and search again.
Due to changes in the plan structure of the "Twitter API" we use for our service, the feature to obtain tweets with specific latitude/longitude coordinates has been moved to the plan costing $5,000 per month. I just can't bring myself to pay that much to "you-know-who" every month. Therefore, unless "he" changes his mind, or someone else offers a helping hand, our service will be suspended.
